Video: The IARC Handbooks of Cancer Prevention programme

A new video animation from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) gives an overview of the IARC Handbooks of Cancer Prevention programme and briefly explains the different steps involved in preparing a volume of the IARC Handbooks series.

The IARC Handbooks evaluate the strength of the evidence supporting different interventions and strategies that aim to reduce the cancer burden in a population. Handbooks evaluations help national health agencies and policy-makers to choose the actions most suited to tackling the cancer burden they face in their regions, in order to implement strategies for cancer prevention.
