Scientists from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) in Madrid, Spain, will hold a series of scientific webinars in 2022. The webinars will address key areas of cancer research, to promote collaboration between IARC and ISCIII and to establish the basis for possible new joint initiatives in the future.
The first webinar, to be held on Friday 25 March at 11:00 CET, will be a conversation between IARC Director Dr Elisabete Weiderpass and ISCIII Director Dr Cristóbal Belda. They will provide an overview of the strategic plans and research interests of the two organizations.
In addition to this inaugural webinar, six more sessions are planned, also in the form of conversations between experts from each organization.
