Call for nominations: second annual IARC Award for Women in Cancer Research

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has launched a call for nominations for the second annual IARC Award for Women in Cancer Research.

Established in 2022, this award recognizes outstanding contributions in the field of cancer prevention research by scientists who identify as women. Outstanding contributions include, but are not limited to, discoveries, implementation, and/or leadership in their field. Nominations of scientists from low- and middle-income countries are encouraged.

To be eligible for nomination, the scientist must (i) have made an outstanding contribution to global cancer prevention research in areas such as (but not limited to) discovery, implementation, or leadership in their field; (ii) identify as a woman; and (iii) not be currently affiliated with IARC.

The deadline to submit nominations is Sunday 12 March at 11:59 pm CET.
