Mutographs project

On 11–12 July 2019, scientists from the Section of Genetics of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) hosted 100 researchers from international partner institutes for the annual meeting of the Mutographs project, which aims to understand the causes of five different cancer types across five continents through studies of genetic mutations. The Mutographs project is funded by a Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Grand Challenge grant.

Below, you can watch an introduction, provided at the meeting by Professor Mike Stratton, principal investigator of the Mutographs project and Director of the Wellcome Sanger Institute (Cambridge, United Kingdom).
