Dr Benjamin O. Anderson, Consultant, Cancer Control, World Health Organization (WHO), presented a seminar on “The Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI): A Catalyst for Change in Global Oncology and Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs)” via web conference on 25 February 2021, as part of the IARC Distinguished Speaker Series. Dr Anderson discussed the objectives, pillars, and targets of the Global Breast Cancer Initiative, as well as the WHO integrative strategy and operational approach.
