IARC Director Dr Elisabete Weiderpass met with Professor Silvio Brusaferro, Commissario Straordinario of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), during a visit to ISS, in Rome, Italy, on 28 June 2019. They discussed expanding collaborations between IARC and ISS, as well as joint training of human resources for cancer research.
