Workshop in Zambia on simulation learning of electrosurgical excision of cervical precancers

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Federation of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (IFCPC) collaboratively organized their first joint workshop in Africa on simulation learning of electrosurgical excision of cervical precancers. The workshop was held at the Women and Newborn Hospital, University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia, on 5 April 2022. The simulation learning demonstrated a procedure known as large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ).

In a new video, Professor Groesbeck Parham and Professor Walter Prendiville talk about the workshop.
