GLOBOCAN 2008: Cancer Incidence and Mortality Worldwide
The International Agency for Research on Cancer today announces
GLOBOCAN 2008, which provides the most accurate assessment of the global cancer burden and shows that in 2008 a majority of the 12.7 million new cases of cancer and the 7.6 million cancer deaths worldwide occurred in developing countries.
