The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the National Cancer Center of China (NCC) have signed a new agreement to renew and expand their collaboration on cancer prevention and control.
The two organizations will continue to work closely on various areas of research, including early diagnosis and prevention, education and training of junior scientists, and the dissemination of IARC scientific publications in Chinese.
IARC and the NCC will also collaborate on the establishment of the National Central Cancer Registry of China, to increase the quality, availability, and use of cancer registry data to better inform cancer control planning in China.
