World Cancer Research Day 2019

On 24 September 2019, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) marks World Cancer Research Day, an annual international observance that aims to raise awareness of the importance of cancer research.

This year, IARC has created posters and a video to introduce some of the scientists who work in the various IARC research sections and to present some of their projects.

The theme of World Cancer Research Day 2019 is “the future of cancer research starts with you”. Therefore, we invite you to learn more about the importance of cancer research, to share the posters and the video via social media, and to speak to your family, friends, and colleagues about the importance of cancer research.
