Cancer screening programme managers from African countries participated in the Cancer Screening in Five Continents (CanScreen5) training programme, organized as an online course and an in-person training session. CanScreen5 is a project of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and partner institutions to improve the quality and impact of cancer screening globally.
In this video, course participants describe the challenges of focusing on cancer prevention during the COVID-19 pandemic, the value of the CanScreen5 training, and how they plan to disseminate their new knowledge in their countries.
