2022 season’s greetings from IARC

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has published a new video to highlight IARC’s achievements in 2022 and convey its best wishes to all the Agency’s collaborators, supporters, and friends.

In 2022, IARC continued to coordinate and conduct research on cancer detection and prevention, published several new volumes in its flagship reference series (the IARC Handbooks of Cancer Prevention, the IARC Monographs, and the WHO Classification of Tumours), and welcomed collaborators back to Lyon for face-to-face meetings once again.

IARC was also proud to welcome the champion tennis player Ms Caroline Garcia into the Friends of IARC network, as the first professional athlete to join this illustrious group of supporters.

The IARC Director and personnel thank all our partners, collaborators, and friends for their support, and send our best wishes for the festive season and 2023. We look forward to welcoming you to the new IARC headquarters, the Nouveau Centre building, which will be officially inaugurated in May 2023.
