Live tour of the IARC Biobank by Dr Zisis Kozlakidis in UICC live broadcast for World Cancer Day

Dr Zisis Kozlakidis, Head of Laboratory Services and Biobanking at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), will join colleagues and partners in the global fight against cancer as part of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) live broadcast for World Cancer Day, on 4 February. The event will include discussions with experts and people living with cancer, a yoga session, book readings, and musical performances.

Dr Kozlakidis will present a live tour of the IARC Biobank, explaining how it operates and how it contributes to cancer research. The UICC live broadcast will start at 9:00 am Central European Time and continue for 12 hours, with a new activity starting every 30 minutes. Dr Kozlakidis will begin the biobank tour at 10:30 am CET. The UICC event will be broadcast on Facebook Live.
