Launch of new EU–Africa partnership to boost biomedical research
On 24–25 August 2015, Cape Town (South Africa) is hosting the first meeting of the newly launched project “B3Africa – Bridging Biobanking and Biomedical Research across Europe and Africa”. The project, involving 11 partners from European and African countries, aims to develop a joint infrastructure to accelerate and facilitate biomedical research across the continents and to address global health challenges together. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is one of the partners supporting B3Africa.
