IARC Summer School 2025 live sessions continue this week with the second module, “Implementing Cancer Prevention and Early Detection”

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) Summer School 2025 continues this week at IARC in Lyon, France, with the start of the second module, “Implementing Cancer Prevention and Early Detection”, which is running from 30 June to 4 July. The first module, “Introduction to Cancer Epidemiology”, ended on Friday 27 June.

Participants in the Summer School completed the online preparatory activities – including self-paced lectures, live sessions, webinars, and project work – earlier in June before arriving at IARC for face-to-face sessions.

The IARC Summer School offers a unique opportunity for epidemiologists, statisticians, physicians, oncologists, and other public health specialists to learn and benefit from IARC’s expertise.

Much of the content of the IARC Summer School is available online.
