IARC scientists will play central roles at the World Cancer Congress 2022

Scientists from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) will attend the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) World Cancer Congress, where they will present the latest research on a range of topics, including personalized cancer screening, equity in cancer prevention, improving screening programmes, and COVID-19 and cancer.

Almost 20 researchers from IARC will make presentations or lead discussions at the UICC World Cancer Congress, either in person or via digital sessions. For insights into some of these presentations, follow the IARC social media channels.

The UICC World Cancer Congress will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 18–20 October. The theme of this year’s event is “Committed to global collaboration and knowledge sharing to accelerate progress in cancer control”.
