IARC Monographs Volume 107: Polychlorinated Biphenyls and Polybrominated Biphenyls
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is pleased to announce that the Monographs on Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs) are now available online. In its evaluation, the Working Group classified both PCBs and dioxin-like PCBs as
carcinogenic to humans (Group 1), while PBBs were classified as
probably carcinogenic to humans (Group 2A).
