IARC Meetings – Emerging Issues in Oncogenic Virus Research

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is pleased to announce the 4th Workshop on Emerging Issues in Oncogenic Virus Research, to be held in San Pietro in Bevagna, Manduria, Italy, on 15–19 June 2016. This workshop will have a broader scope than the previous three; it will still focus on novel oncogenic viruses but will also include new insights on well-established oncogenic viruses. The meeting website provides further details, including the preliminary scientific programme and practical information about travel and accommodation. Meeting registration will open on 18 January 2016.

The meeting will immediately follow on from a major conference entitled “Global Cancer: Occurrence, Causes and Avenues to Prevention” in Lyon, France (7-10 June) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of IARC (https://www.iarc.who.int/conference2016/en/index.html). The Agency would be delighted to welcome you to attend this landmark event before continuing on to Manduria.
