IARC Handbooks of Cancer Prevention Volume 15: Breast Cancer Screening

A Working Group of 29 experts from 16 countries met at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) on 11–18 November 2014 to assess the cancer-preventive and adverse effects of different methods of screening for breast cancer. A summary of the evaluations has now been published in The New England Journal of Medicine. The detailed assessments will be published as Volume 15 of the IARC Handbooks of Cancer Prevention.
