EurocanPlatform is an European Commission funded project that brings together 28 cancer research centres, to coordinate research activities, share infrastructures and create a collaborative network within the European Union to advance cancer research and treatment. IARC is a partner in this project, responsible primarily for work in the area of cancer prevention. Some of the other proposed activities include early detection, biomarker discovery, optimization of cancer registration and biobanking.
