Cancer incidence and cancer control in Mongolia

The National Cancer Registry of Mongolia, with support from the Global Initiative for Cancer Registry Development (GICR), has been improving its cancer data in accordance with international standards and guidelines. This new study, conducted by researchers from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the National Cancer Center of Mongolia, examines region-specific estimates of the scale and profile of cancer in Mongolia and discusses the underlying explanations from the major risk factors in operation.
