Call for proposals: Transnational Access to Large Prospective Cohorts in Europe
The Biobanking and Biomolecular Research Infrastructure – Large Prospective Cohorts (BBMRI-LPC) FP7 project brings together large prospective cohort studies across Europe to facilitate collaborative transnational research projects. BBMRI-LPC constitutes a large network of 20 European cohort studies, involving more than 1 million study participants with lifestyle information and biospecimens collected at baseline. Within the project, the Genetic Epidemiology and Dietary Exposure Assessment Groups at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) are involved in organizing access to these unique collections for European scientists.
IARC is pleased to announce that the first call for proposals for gaining free access to these resources is now open. Applications will be accepted until
15 July 2014.
