The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is pleased to announce the publication of the children’s book A Checklist for Dad, by Dr Tricia L. Larose.
Dr Larose wrote this book while she was a postdoctoral scientist at IARC in 2017–2019. A Checklist for Dad is a story for ages 5–7 years that provides answers to questions children may confront about the occurrence of cancer in their family. It promotes preventive behaviours that children can adopt for a healthy and happy lifestyle.
All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the IARC Education and Training Group to support courses, fellowships, and training of cancer researchers worldwide.
