10th Sir Richard Doll Lecture – 4 December 2013

Professor Pelayo Correa (Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, USA) will present the 10th Sir Richard Doll Lecture on 4 December at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The title of Professor Correa's talk is "The gastric precancerous cascade".

He will then receive the IARC Medal of Honour from the Director of the Agency, Dr Christopher P. Wild, for his career-long contribution to cancer research, in the field of gastrointestinal cancer, and particularly Helicobacter pylori.
