In an interview for European Journal of Cancer News Focus, Dr Christopher Wild, Director of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), talks about the exposome, “an idea whose time has come”. The concept of the exposome was first proposed by Dr Wild 10 years ago as a way of describing environmental influences over a lifetime.
