Launch of the World Cancer Report Updates Teaching Toolkit

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), in collaboration with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), is pleased to announce the launch of the World Cancer Report Updates Teaching Toolkit on Cancer Research for Cancer Prevention.

This freely accessible online teaching toolkit is designed to support anyone involved in transmitting knowledge and skills on cancer research for cancer prevention. It includes modifiable PowerPoint slides, suggested quizzes and exercises, links to relevant data visualization tools, and useful references. Teachers and trainers can use this material to disseminate the valuable content of World Cancer Report to a range of audiences.

The toolkit will have a variety of modules, covering different areas of cancer research for cancer prevention. The first module of the toolkit, “Rationale and Scope of Cancer Research for Cancer Prevention”, is now available on the World Cancer Report Updates learning platform.

World Cancer Report provides a comprehensive and multidisciplinary overview of cancer research for cancer prevention.

The World Cancer Report Updates learning platform project is implemented with the support of and in collaboration with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
