The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is supporting the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) in promoting the 8th European Awareness Week on Alcohol-Related Harm, which takes place on 16–20 November 2020.
The aims of the awareness week are to increase awareness among individuals and policy-makers of the overwhelming burden of alcohol-related harm in Europe, to propose possible solutions to the problem, and to highlight the need to address this important public health issue through an integrated approach to alcohol policy.
