According to a new Lancet Commission on Women, Power, and Cancer and an accompanying new analysis of data from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), published in The Lancet Global Health, the deaths of almost 7 in 10 women who died prematurely (i.e. at ages < 70 years) of cancer in 2020 could have been prevented.
