Launch of the European Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Colorectal Cancer Screening and Diagnosis

Following the success of the EU Guidelines for quality assurance in breast and cervical cancer screening, the first edition of the “European Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Colorectal Cancer Screening and Diagnosis” has been produced in an international collaborative project coordinated by IARC involving a multidisciplinary group of more than 90 experts from 21 EU Member States and 11 other countries around the World.

The official launch will be at the European Commission in Brussels on Thursday 3 February.
The press conference will take place at around 12h20, just after the Midday Press briefing. It will be web-streamed and can be followed live on the Europe by Satellite (EBS) website by clicking on “EC Midday press briefing LIVE”

Further information will be available on February 3rd from 12h00 onwards on the Commission's website in the form of a press release that contains a link to the electronic version of the Guidelines.
