The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has launched IARC@60, 12 months of celebrations, activities, and special events to mark the Agency’s 60th anniversary year. The campaign and festivities will culminate in an international scientific conference in Lyon, France, in May 2026.
The IARC@60 campaign will showcase some of the highlights of the past 60 years of IARC’s activities in advancing cancer research and prevention, as well as the Agency’s vision for the next 60 years and beyond. The launch occurred during the Sixty-Seventh Session of the IARC Governing Council.
