IARC@60 Conference – Cancer Research into Action

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) will celebrate its 60th anniversary with the IARC@60 Conference: “Cancer Research into Action”, which will take place in Lyon, France, from 19 to 21 May 2026. This major event will bring together scientists, researchers, policy-makers, and public health professionals from across the world to explore how cutting-edge cancer research can translate into meaningful action for prevention and control.

The conference programme will revolve around three main themes: Discovery and Innovation for Cancer Prevention; Translating Research into Public Health Action; and Science–Policy Interface for Global Change. Through engaging sessions and discussions, participants will share insights, foster collaborations, and shape the future of global cancer research.

The Call for Abstracts is now open, offering an opportunity for scientists and public health experts to showcase their work and contribute to this global dialogue. Selected abstracts will be featured in oral presentations or poster sessions, providing a unique platform to highlight innovative research and impactful initiatives.
