On World Cancer Day, 4 February, two experts presented seminars at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) about their work on cancer prevention in low-resource settings.
The 6th IARC Cancer and Society Lecture was presented by Groesbeck Parham, MD. Dr Parham is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. He spoke about “Catalysing a shift in cancer control in a low-resource setting by using what’s available”.
